There is Growth in our Brokenness

Here is your reminder to trust in God in every season. I may not know you personally, I may not know why or how you stumbled on my blog. I do know, however, that you are here because God wants you to trust in His perfect plan for your life.

You may be going through a difficult season, a season where it's hard for you to smile, laugh or be positive. This is a season where you just aren't feeling like yourself anymore. This is your season of brokenness.

I am writing to you today to remind you that there is growth in your brokenness. Your brokenness is a part of God's perfect plan for your life. You may not understand it and you may not feel like this season will only make you stronger, but it will. If you are feeling like God is not hearing you or seeing you, that is not what His word says. His word says that He is close to the brokenhearted.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."-Psalm 34:18 (NLT)

God is close to you during your season of heartbreak. He is right beside you. The intimacy you will experience with God during this time of not knowing is unlike any other. The time you will spend with God, finding peace in His presence, will be a time filled with love and true intimacy with the Lord.

I encourage you to dive into the word of God during this time and truly grab hold of God's promises. His promises of comfort, peace, and joy.

"When you go through deep waters,
    I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
    you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
    you will not be burned up;
    the flames will not consume you."
-Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)

God says that you are loved. He says that you are forgiven, He says that you are worth it. This life that you are living is beautiful. You are what He says you are. I encourage you to trust God during this time, even though it's hard. Trust Him because He is a promise keeper. This means that He will fulfill each and every one of His promises in your life. Our time and our plans are so different than God's timing and His plans. If something didn't happen as you wished it would, that doesn't mean that it will never happen. It just means that it didn't align with God's timing.

Grab hold of your faith. Go through this season, cry when you need to, scream when you need to, but trust God and hold His hand through it all. You will get through this season. Each season is needed in order for us to grow. You will eventually find your calm after the storm.

If you would like to continue this conversation or if you need some extra help with prayer, send me an email. I would love to speak to you and pray together. Sending you so much love.
